Maybe kid me would love the pre-dipped fries but those fuckers would get gross after like 5 minutes.

  3. You could use the syringe of ketchup on the plate to inject it INSIDE the fries!

That’s just a bad excuse, I bet the amount of people going out to eat on ozempic is fractional.

Sure blame ozempic. It’s corporate greed and price gouging. Smaller portions + higher prices. Anybody with a brain can see that.

I bet they’re not shrinking the prices.

My only problem with that is that as soon as you pick one fry all the rest will fall and make a mess.

Just two guys with a crazy dream

  9. To be fair, we do not need remotely as large of portions as we currently get.

Restaurants are gonna be disappointed when they realize most people aren’t on Ozempic after losing customers.

Yeah, it’s called shrinkfellation it’s not new. The only thing not shrinking is prices.

  12. Is that a fucking syringe of ketchup sitting in between the burger and fries?

In this thread overeaters complain they aren’t getting a good value at boutique dining establishments

As someone who takes ozempic for diabetes I would love smaller portion sizes.. if they also reduced the price. Otherwise im just paying to not take anything home

Okay now I know they’re glazing. Nobody who regularly eats at McDonald’s can afford ozempic. (Source: I used to regularly eat at McDonald’s and cannot afford ozempic)

Good ol NYT and their “groundbreaking” journalism.

ITT: People who didn’t read the article at all getting mad at what they think it is about.

This isn’t talking about shrinkflation at all. It’s talking about some niche restaurants that are creating specifically small portioned food Ozempic users.

    >Aristotle Hatzigeorgiou, the owner, introduced the special after seeing how many people in his own life were taking GLP-1s, a class of drug used for weight loss because they suppress appetites. “I am always with someone who is taking Ozempic, Mounjaro, one of those things,” he said. “They have one or two bites of food and a couple of sips of drinks, and they’re done.

I honestly prefer healthier portion sizes, like I want fries I just don’t want a basket of em. Just don’t charge me like it’s a basket
